The Question Bank

The Question Bank is a searchable library of practice questions organised by subject, topic, and difficulty. Access it via Question Bank in the sidebar.

Assigning questions

  1. Select the questions you want to assign (tick the checkbox next to each).
  2. Click Assign.
  3. Choose the recipient — a classroom, an individual student, or a group.
  4. Set an optional due date.
  5. Click Confirm.
The student(s) receive a notification and the assignment appears in their Home screen.

Saving and sending questions while studying

Students can flag questions themselves while studying:
  1. The student finds a question they want to revisit.
  2. They press the Save button (bookmark icon).
  3. The question is added to their Saved Questions list.
When a student gets a question wrong or reveals the solution, a “Stuck? Send this question to your tutor” prompt also appears — sending shares the question with their draft answer and whiteboard working attached, so the tutor sees exactly where they got stuck. The tutor can see all saved questions under the student’s Review tab in the Teaching view before the next session — a ready-made queue of what the student was stuck on, with no prep needed. In a classroom, the group’s progress tab shows a count of saved questions, including ones several students got stuck on.

Creating your own questions

  1. Go to Question BankMy Questions tab.
  2. Click New question.
  3. Choose the type, enter the text, add images or LaTeX maths, and set the marking scheme.
  4. Tag it with subject and topic.
  5. Click Save — available to all tutors in your org.
