Overview

ClassQuill uses Stripe to process card payments. Once you connect your Stripe account, parents can pay invoices online — no manual bank transfer coordination needed. Stripe’s standard processing fee applies. ClassQuill does not add a platform surcharge on top.

Connecting Stripe

You must be an Org Owner or Org Admin to connect Stripe.
  1. Go to Settings → Payments in the org sidebar.
  2. Click Connect Stripe.
  3. You’ll be redirected to Stripe’s onboarding flow. Complete the steps to verify your business identity and bank account.
  4. Once approved, you’ll be redirected back to ClassQuill and Stripe will show as Connected.
Stripe’s identity verification typically takes a few minutes but can take up to 2 business days for new accounts.

What happens after connecting

  • All new invoices will include a Pay by card button.
  • Parents receive an email with a secure payment link.
  • Payments are deposited to your bank account on Stripe’s payout schedule (typically 2 business days).
  • Paid invoices are automatically marked as Paid in ClassQuill.
