Overview
ClassQuill sends automatic reminders before every booked session. No setup required — reminders go out as long as the session is confirmed and the recipient has a valid email address.What gets sent and when

SMS requires a mobile phone number on the parent or student’s account. Go to Settings → Profile to add or update a phone number.
What the reminder contains
- Session date, time, and duration
- Tutor name
- Session format (in-person address or video call join link)
- Link to the session in the app
If a session is rescheduled or cancelled
When a session is rescheduled or cancelled, ClassQuill immediately sends a notification to all parties with the updated details. A fresh reminder goes out 24 hours before the rescheduled session.Turning off reminders
- Go to Settings → Notifications
- Toggle Session reminders on or off per channel (email / push / SMS)
