Who can invite tutors
Org Owners and Org Admins can invite tutors. Tutors cannot invite other tutors.Steps
1. Go to Users
From the sidebar, click Users. This opens the user management page with two tabs: Tutors and Learners. Make sure you’re on the Tutors tab.2. Click “Add User”
Click the Add User button in the top-right corner.3. Choose a role
A modal appears with three role options:| Role | When to use |
|---|---|
| Tutor | Standard tutor — delivers sessions, sees their own schedule and earnings |
| Admin | Trusted team lead — can manage other tutors, students, classrooms, and payments |
| Student | Use the Learners tab instead |
4. Enter their email address
Type the tutor’s email address and click Send invite. ClassQuill sends them an invite email with a link to create their account.The invite link expires after 7 days. If a tutor misses it, return to the Tutors tab, find their pending invite, and click Resend.
5. Tutor accepts and completes onboarding
When the tutor clicks the link, they create a password and land on their onboarding checklist. They’ll be prompted to:- Select the subjects they teach
- Set their weekly availability
- Add a profile photo and bio
- Upload their Working with Children Check (WWCC) — required in Australia
- Add their ABN and bank details (for payroll)
