A deck is a set of question cards you review on a schedule. ClassQuill uses FSRS, a spaced-repetition scheduler, so a card you know well comes back less often and one you struggle with comes back sooner.

Where to find decks

Open Review, then Saved. Saved has two tabs: Questions and Decks. Pick a deck to see what’s due today and start studying.

Studying a card

  1. Read the question and think of your answer.
  2. Reveal the answer and check it against yours.
  3. Rate how well you knew it: Again, Hard, Good or Easy. Each button shows when the card will come back.
Cards with a single mark and a self-checkable answer can be cards; longer, multi-part questions can’t.

Building your own deck

Create a deck from the Decks tab, name it, pick a subject, then add questions to it (for example with Add to deck while you practise). You can set how many new cards you see per day, suspend a card, or bury it until tomorrow. If a question a card came from is later removed, the card is dropped and the deck shows how many cards are no longer available.

How it affects your progress

Rating a card counts towards your topic mastery and weak-topic signals: Again counts as incorrect, and Hard, Good and Easy count as correct, once per card per day. Decks are for self-study — they never appear as homework and don’t send reminders.
